About project

During this Festival there were be numerous afternoon and evening concerts both at the Royal Conservatoire and the Korzo theatre. The concerts presented the latest works by students of the Composition department, performed by instrumentalists, singers and performers of the Royal Conservatoire and various Dutch ensembles.

The festival took place in The Hague and coincided with the 100th anniversary of de Stijl (the Style), which came to be the style determining this year's festival identity.

The exterior of The Hague’s City Hall, designed by American architect Richard Meier, has been called “the world’s largest Mondrian painting.” (Nancy Beijersbergen/Alamy Stock Photo)
